It's been weeks ever since I couldn't sleep peacefully.
I sat on the living room's sofa in the middle of the night, my hands occupied with a cup of hot chocolate. My eyes are drowsy, yet it's clear that they're completely awake.
I clicked my tongue as I blew the steaming drink to cool it down. I watched the sweet drink make ripples each time I blew out some cold air. I slowly sipped from the cup and placed it down onto the coffee table. Somehow I feel more comfortable, but not enough to make me fall into a sweet, deep slumber.
I'm tired of this.
I just want to have a good night's dream.
"Why won't you let me sleep..?"
I stammer out those words as it were asking someone. I began to stare right into space with dazed eyes.
It seems like I'm in an endless cycle; every single night I would encounter a very.. unusual dream that is often similar to the ones I had in the past, and would be in the future; it had the same beginning, s
